The Duke Society of
American Foresters (SAF) Chapter is hosting its annual fall symposium focused
on the “All Lands Vision” for landscape conservation, as laid out by USFS Chief
Tom Tidwell. We have a lineup of speakers who have been involved in this
movement that include leaders in conservation, ecology, forestry, and public
lands management.
All are invited to
attend, but RSVP is required
by next Friday, October 14, 2016. Please fill out this survey if you are attending, even if for only
part of the day.
Check-in and breakfast will begin at 7:30am
with talks beginning at 8:15am. Talks will end around 3:30pm, followed by an informal reception.
Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided to registered
participants. This symposium has been approved by SAF for 5.0 Continuing Forestry Education credits.
